can range from a grand opening of a store to a promotion in a mall or party for employees or clients of a company. I also included my work for Children's Museum of Manhattan on this page, though it's a non-profit organization. But it is my #1 client, I've been working for their special events, festivals, TV promotions and birthday parties for the last 3 years. I also do a lot of face-painting for other corporate clients as a member of CMOM team.
Cigna Health Care promotions in suburban shopping malls.
Face-painting is a fun way to attract customers, as each kid tells everybody where he or she got the make-up, which brings families to the booth or a store.
Family Day in MADISON SQUARE GARDEN.
This event was a part of Chase Manhattan Tennis
Tournament, a lot of school kids were invited to attend and the
Garden organized entertainment for the families - there were mascots,
balloon clowns, caricaturists etc.
CITIBANK Halloween Party 1997.
We decorated kids on a field trip to the bank
and stayed to paint faces for the customers and employees, who
wanted Halloween make up.
XENIUM FOUNDATION OKTOBERFEST 1997.
This was a theme party, so we had to wear German
peasant costumes and paint "small designs" for partying
CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF MANHATTAN, Halloween Festival 1998
The team of Maze staff acting in the Halloween story - Candy, Bee, Pumpkin, Book, Computer Guy and Scary Guy. I was also painting kids' faces for a week - these pictures are in the gallery and holidays pages.
CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF MANHATTAN, TIME-OUT WEEKEND 1997, make-up for the Clock-Doc for UPN 9 and NY1 News.
CMOM traditionally reminds New Yorkers to reset their watches and clocks twice a year: here's make up for the anchor. I was also painting the kids with "time" designs - we are trying to make face-painting more educational, teach kids alphabet, reading time etc. for special occasions and exhibitions.
